Affiliate Program Terms

1. FTC Disclosure

Affiliates must clearly and conspicuously disclose their commercial relationship with Composure in all promotional content. The disclosure must appear before any affiliate link and be immediately visible without scrolling or clicking. Acceptable example: "I earn a commission if you sign up through my link at no extra cost to you."

Hiding disclosures in footers, using vague language ("partner," "sponsored by"), or placing them after the affiliate link is a violation that may result in immediate program termination.

2. Commission Rates

Rates apply to both subscription plans (recurring) and one-time template kits. Recurring commissions are paid monthly for up to 12 months after the first payment, then taper to a 20% lifetime rate. Founding-rate subscribers (grandfathered cohort) always pay at the base rate regardless of your tier.

3. Attribution & Cookie Policy

Attribution uses a first-touch, 60-day cookie window. When a visitor clicks your referral link, a server-set cookie records the attribution. If the visitor subscribes within 60 days, you earn the commission.

We also capture a consent-gated browser fingerprint (hashed, not the raw ID) as a secondary attribution signal. If the cookie is lost but a fingerprint match is found within 90 days, your attribution enters an admin review queue. Grace-period attributions are never automatic — a Composure admin reviews each case manually. Attribution click records older than 90 days are purged; the underlying event log is retained indefinitely for audit purposes.

4. Clawback Policy

Commissions enter a 30-day hold after the underlying Stripe charge. If the customer requests a refund within that window, the corresponding commission is reversed. Commissions already paid out on a subsequently refunded purchase will be deducted from your next payout cycle.

5. Payout Cadence

Approved commissions are paid on the 15th of each month for balances at or above $50.00. Balances below the minimum roll over to the following month. US-based affiliates are paid via Stripe Connect; international affiliates are paid via Wise. You are responsible for providing accurate payout details.

US affiliates who earn $600 or more in a calendar year will receive a 1099-NEC form via Stripe. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes.

6. Prohibited Promotion Methods

• Paid search bidding on Composure brand keywords (including "Composure," "Composure Pro," or common misspellings) on any ad platform. Organic search content is permitted.
• Spam — unsolicited email, DMs, forum posts, or social media messages that recipients have not opted into.
• Fake or incentivized reviews — reviews must represent genuine user experience.
• Self-referral — using your own affiliate link to purchase a subscription or template kit. Self-referral fraud results in immediate suspension and commission reversal.
• Misleading claims — do not misrepresent pricing, features, or any material aspect of Composure products.
• Coupon or cashback sites without prior approval — contact us before listing on any discount aggregator.

7. Termination

Composure may suspend or terminate your affiliate account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or for any reason with 30 days notice. Earned and approved commissions will be paid out on the next scheduled cycle after termination.

8. Changes to This Program

Composure reserves the right to modify commission rates, attribution windows, and program terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to active affiliates with at least 30 days notice.
